Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat-- the most-sold game of 2007 according to the NPDGroup, selling 7+ million units since November -- will soon have a map-pack available as downloadable content for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game. No word on maps for the PC version but I'm sure they'll be available some time in the future.

The press-release didn't give further details on the maps. However, according to the trust-worthy Will Kasoy, senior vice president of global brand management, "Call of Duty 4 is one of the best games ever created," so there is bound to be further information coming soon.
