Be a while before we get a proper, portable fission reactor...

But this is a step in the right direction >_>

The government will definitely now allow people to have nuclear material at their disposal.

What would you do with all the radioactive waste generated? That could be the most expensive part of the system.

The radioactive waste would likely have to be secured as well because terrorists could steal it and make a dirty nuke bomb.

Also, nuclear power plants last about 35 years on average. What do you do with the mess after 35 years?

Don't get me wrong. I think this could be a great idea. Looking forward to reading your answers.

I honestly don't think that a terrorist threat would occur due to unproperly disposed waste. It wouldn't be smart to offer something like this and then not have a proper way of disposing the stuff.

There is always the possibility somebody will do something stupid and more bad stuff occurs. So ummm yeah
