Can spy in flyer or crawler mode
Versatility is always good.
Say you want to spy on something from the air, but then it gets windy -- what are you going to do then? Well, if this new spy-drone is doing your spying for you, bad weather would not be a problem.
The drone is called the Morphing Micro Air and Land Vehicle. Its development was sponsored by the good folks at the Department of Homeland Security, and the United States Air Force. It is small enough to fit in your hand, can record with its cameras while it flies around, and is also capable of movement over the ground.
In order to get flying into the air, it needs to jump off of at least a 2nd story building.
Here is a video of it action (you might want to skip the first 30 seconds or so of spy-cam footage.)
You need to land this thing on roofs in order to get the full use of it. After it lands on ground you either have it walk to you which can take a while or you run to it.

What's the antennae range?
