Ritual has announced a free multiplayer patch to be available soon.
Ritual Entertainment's Scott Alden has announced that there will be a free multiplayer patch for Heavy Metal FAKK2. Here is the news bit on the
FAKK2 site:
"Ritual is indeed working on a free multiplayer patch for FAKK2. FAKK2Arena as its [sic] dubbed for now will have clan arena style play with 1 on 1 as well (Rocket Arena style). There will most likely be a mix of new levels and modified single player levels. Other details are not available at this but we'll keep you posted. We can give you a rough estimate of the release date though, which would be late September / early October."
Since its release last month, Heavy Metal FAKK2 has seen phenomenal success and garnered critical acclaim. The Tomb Raider style third person shooter is based on the animated cult classic Heavy Metal. Utilizing the Quake III: Arena engine, Heavy Metal FAKK2 tells the story of a planet with a secret. Julie, a bustly, anatomically-incorrect action figure, must defend her homeworld Eden from the alien Gith Industries, who threaten to destroy it.
Heavy Metal FAKK2 is published by Gathering of Developers.
