Today 2K Sports announces the latest in the Top Spin series, while it isn't that far off from the previous original the game does manage to improve upon the original engine base. The title is currently exclusive to the Xbox 360 on the console front with portable editions available on the DS and GBA.

Top Spin 2 brings gamers back onto the court, bringing back elements from the original with new features and gameplay, giving opportunities to compete against, play as or even team up with many of the world's top-ranked tennis professionals such as Andy Roddick, Roger Federer, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova and James Blake. Grand Slam tournaments like Wimbledon and more await players this time around, each tournament carrying it's own dynamic with various environmental changes depending on the player performance.
