OCZ Technology of Sunnyvale, CA announced yesterday that it has introduced the next step in its high-end RAM. PC2-6400 EL Platinum XTC Edition RAM will run at DDR2-800 and is rated to run at 4-5-4 timings.
This new RAM is targeted at gamers and enthusiasts and is designed to run at lower latencies than standard DDR2. The new RAM will use OCZ's heatspreader design, which was engineered for use with the XTC line of RAM.
