Not to be outdone by the movie industry, the electronic gaming industry has come up with their own award show, E3.

Although Billy Crystal didn't host this one (and neither did the other Bill...), the judging system seemed to work pretty much the same way. Whoever gets one award sweeps most of them in Titanic fashion. This time around, it was Lionhead Studios' "Black & White". Garnering 4 awards out of 17, including Best Game of the Show, Best Original Game, Best PC Game and Best Strategy Game...Black & White has set itself up to become the most sought after game of the coming second-half. I certainly know what I'll be buying with my lunch money...

But let it not be said that I am a biased bastard. Judge for yourself.

Black & White is a cross-genre strategy god game involving resource management, spellcasting skills, battle strategy and parenting skills. The game is set in the idyllic world of Eden, which is paradise and then some. Everything is as perfect as can be until YOU arrive, a spoiled young sorcerer who decides to amuse yourself by interferring in the villagers' lives through your magic. Soon, you have created hugh Titans from Eden's native fauna. These Titans wreak havoc on the landscape and battle each other. When you discover that you are not the only sorcerer in the land, a war ensues.
