The PlayStation 2 version of Resident Evil 4 looks to be finally nearing release, as Capcom today confirms that the game will ship this October 25th. Resident Evil fans will be well aware that the game was released for the Nintendo GameCube many moons ago. The fourth game in the series was originally intended as a GameCube exclusive title, in fact. Capcom finally relented a few months after the title's exclusivity announcement however, and a PS2 version has been in development since.
According to GameSpot, a limited edition release of the game is also planned, but no further details are available to explain what exactly this includes.
