As I said in response to Leo's article when news broke about the game getting a bumped up certificate, it doesn't matter a damn. Rockstar will lose no money; infact, just like when Carmageddon went through the same fuss over their pedestrian guts when hit by a car, the US Senators who created this fuss in the first place are probably likely to have doubled/tripled sales of GTA:SA. If I were Rockstar right now, I'd be laughing my ass off.

Scary times for Neoseeker though. We're doomed to years of threads such as: "omg How do I get the girlfriends naked in GTA"

Exactly, its not part of normal gameplay. This is no different then doownloading a mod so you can do it.

if you ask me people make to much of a big deal over games plus its not like you cant download nude skins for sims2 but you dont see them bumping up the rating on sims2.plus its not like that kids under 18 wont get the game (me for one )if anything r* sales will go up double now.I think people should stop WORRYING about games and worry more about more important stuff .

Its no big deal its just something that you can only get if you want it. Its not like little kids are going to find it by accident. My 10 year old brother plays San Andres and he wouldn't even want to see hot coffee.

It was never meant to be seen. If Rockstar wan't people to see it they would have made it a cheat code. The hacker needs to be punished and GTA should remain an M Rated game.

I think they went all over board about it. The biggest thing people need to realize about the ratings. Is that they are useless if the parents and the companies (EB Games, Gamestop, Walmart, etc.) that sell them, don't use the ratings. Parents need to take a more active roll in their kids life, and these companies need to card people. Besides, its a stupide little mod thats absolutely funny at first. After a while it gets really irritating. Its something stupid, treat it as such. Just like some of us would just be happy and tell the Clintons to STFU!

The whole thing is ridiculously blown out of proporition, there are games, just as bad if not worse out there. making it AO will won't help, b/c those underage will find ways of getting the games just so as it is being rated M, further more such piece of content being the game shouldn't be taken so seriously when that the rating not only should the rating slow down underage players but the degree of difficulty of accessing this I hear is great and on top of all that the scenes in this "hot coffee" are no more grotesque than what is shown on TV. Stop me if I'm wrong, why is there such a gap between sex and violence?you can go on shooting spree murdering innocent people, but if panties are shown, it's time for AO rating.

In my oppnion, violence should push game ratings up more then sex should.

Well, it's Christian America...

But I do think that Rockstar should have taken the sex scene out.

Well, i would say Rock Star Games are just unlucky this time, or well, unlucky in general. It would not be as bad if it was some other game and some other company, but unfortunitely this company and this game has drawn far tooooo much media and parent awareness to it. More importantly, sensor crazed parents. I mean, you don't see sims getting a rating change even if you can mod the game out to show nudity do you? In my opinion, this is all some hipe created by the media and parents labeling game companies and "righteously" deciding on what is "good" and what is "bad". They tried to take this game out soo many times in the past but they failed, now that they found a mistake, they won't let this chance get past them. Maybe Rockstar should of just took it off, or hide it better

my thoughts r that the bumped up ratin is VERY immature for Hot Coffee becuz San Andreas isnt the first to show nudity. the other GTA games were rated the same and many other games hav sum nudity but werent even reported to the news.

If American congress is going to go all bust over some minor pixelated boobage and a dude in jeans rocking back and forth they might as well jump on the porn industry who is ALL over the net these days that little youngins eyes are exposed to every day... but O WAIT they arent going to do anything about it because they make billions of $ of profit off of it and they are just going to leave it the way it is... I think soccer moms are the way they are probably because the husband doesnt satisfy them enough at home to keep them busy (IMO:))
