But no new GPUs to back them up?
German hardware site TweakPC confirms that Matrox Graphics will have some new graphics card products available for this year. However, according to VR-Zone's translation, neither will feature any new GPUs on Matrox's part. Indeed, they note that Matrox has no new GPUs planned for the rest of this year, which suggests that their rumored PCI Express solution (news) won't be a reality until 2005.
"The first one comes this month, a Parhelia with AGP8x and a TV-Out. In Summer, we will see another new Card (but not a new Chip), which could power-up the Parhelia Series (maybe higher clock-rates). And finally Matrox will release a new Chip not until 2005."
As you can see, there's very little information to work with here which is unfortunate if Matrox really does have something planned for later this month. Hopefully we should have some more concrete information on any new offerings before then.
