Geralt of Rivia doesn't have the greatest job, but he can still be the best-dressed guy in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Screenshots released for gamescom 2014 offer a bit of a recap on the demo shown during E3, as well as some concept art showing us the evolution of Geralt's armor.
The Witcher 3 covers the most ground of any Witcher game, and much of the territory Geralt travels through does involve cold climates. So above is a pretty nice look at what CD Projekt labeled as "Bear Armor," and the various phases it goes through. Check out that thick fur pelt going around his neck in the Level 3 version.
Ciri, Triss and Yennefer are highlighted in some concept work as well, though to a lesser degree of detail than Geralt. Below is also a brief clip of the Witcher 3 demo featuring the "Downwarren" segment, first shown in June. In it, Geralt must perform a task for three witches in exchange for information on Ciri. The witches have asked Geralt to destroy an evil tree in the local woods, but as these things typically go in Witcher games, no one decision seems like the right one.
