Activision jumps on the Gamescom teaser bandwagon with a clip that actually says something: the Sierra brand is making a comeback. The stage certainly seems set for the revival of the studio famous for classic adventure game series on PC like Gabriel Knight, King's Quest, Space Quest and even Leisure Suit Larry, as Sierra.com is already back online. It even has its own YouTube channel.
Of course it was precisely because of Activision Blizzard's formation back in 2008 that Sierra folded in the first place, but by that time the developer/publisher was a different beast. It's not clear to what end Sierra's resurrection serves for Activision, but the Call of Duty publisher promises more details at Gamescom proper next week in Cologne.
