We're a week away from gamescom and BioWare's big reveal, so of course the studio has a new teaser. This one, shockingly enough, seems a little more straightforward than the previous two "Chosen" teasers, and happens to feature a young lady. The video is titled Impact.
No one is suffering through trippy nightmares or phones that refuse to stop ringing this time (before being struck by LIGHTNING). Instead, we see a girl looking dazed, and repeating the words: "It's not my fault."
When the camera pans out, we see that same girl standing in what might have been her backyard. The house, however, is smoldering mess sitting in a charred crater. Guess we know what she claims isn't her fault.
We were first informed that we've been chosen back in July, through a young man's vivid nightmares. BioWare released a second teaser toward the end of the month that featured a teenage boy and his phone being struck by lighting -- while indoors. This entire series of live-action teasers definitely has a bit of a superhero/comic book vibe, and right now, popular speculation seems to point toward human beings developing supernatural powers.
Then again, BioWare might just throw us all for a loop and announce a TV series or something.
