Today is a sad day, as we learn that Evolve has been delayed from this year into 2015, moving its much-anticipated release from October 21 to February 10. This unfortunate news comes on the heels of 2K Games' earnings report, though the publisher didn't provide a reason for the decision to delay Evolve.
What's also interesting is that Evolve had just ended its first public alpha test on PC, and developer Turtle Rock Studios had announced plans to hold more testing phases up until the game's fall release. Guess they'll definitely have more time now.
Evolve boasts a unique 4v1 setup in a unique cooperative-multiplayer hybrid; then again, would you expect any less from the creators of Left 4 Dead? Every encounter between hunters and monster is meant to replicate the feeling of entering an epic boss battle, only the boss is actually controlled by another player.
