In case you're like me an instantly joined Club Nintendo after this, here's the official news about getting the Ganondorf freebie:
quote
Here’s a nice offer involving a (usually) not-so-nice guy: if you buy Hyrule Warriors for Wii U and register the game with Club Nintendo between 9/26/14 and 10/23/14, you can receive a free download code for the Demon King Costume Set DLC: two costumes for Ganondorf that you can use in-game.

Ganondorf is one of the many playable characters in Hyrule Warriors that come from classic games in The Legend of Zelda™ series. The two downloadable costumes are inspired by his appearances in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Keep an eye on club.nintendo.com in the weeks ahead for more details about the offer.

You must be a Club Nintendo member to participate, and the offer is available only in the US and Canada.

Yeah i do hope we get the dlc offers over here aswell (even though i dont like when games go in for buyable costumes and such). Not a whole lot of new stuff in the direct video but still good to see theres playable bad guys, the fact they said some characters are unlockable from the minigame thing tells me theres likely still alot more characters we havnt seen yet

Plus anyone else find it so funny and weird to see ganon of all people opening a chest for a heart piece?

dunno why it says it'll be only avaliable in the us and canade, because the european hyrule warriors directs also mentioned that you can get the skins like this.

Might be because the dates are different.

I do like how they are doing this stuff and then giving us exclusive stuff as a reason to use our Club Nintendo.

I knew this one was coming, but being able to play as Ganondorf is super awesome. I really like how they gave him a Demise look as well with the long hair.

The last game Ganondorf is playable prior to this game was Super Smash Bros. Melee, I think.

My goodness, Ganondorf looks amazing! I love the design. He's probably the one I'm most excited to play as, based off of that trailer.

This is easily the best design for Ganondorf, imo. He looks like an absolute beast in Hyrule Warriors, as he really should be.

I'll be trying to get some of the costumes, but mostly I just want the Twilight Princess Link. Ideally I want to run TP Link and HW Zelda and Ganondorf in the game.

Like I mentioned before they gave him a really cool Demise look while keeping his Ganondorf looks as well. Gotta say it worked out really nicely.

This new Ganondorf kind of reminds me of Naraku from Inuyasha, I remember long time ago when I was watching that anime I always did compare Naraku and Ganondorf, and now we finally have Narakudorf.
