Media Molecule has already announced the development of LittleBigPlanet 3, but it looks like they have yet another project underway for Sony's PlayStation 4. A teaser video was put up recently showcasing a bunch of visual glitches and shadows, though there may be more to it than what first meets the eye.
The company behind both LittleBigPlanet and Tearaway explains exactly what the mess of flashy images is in the video's description. Titled "Making games: Embrace your mistakes", it's a rendering error made while developing for the PlayStation 4 with some rad techno tunes on top. After watching through the glitched images, Media Molecule groupies may recognize a familiar face. Media Molecule's PS4 tech demo might remember the old clay man jamming with his band and lady-friend, and it just so happens that this same man makes an appearance throughout the trailer.
What does any of this mean? While some may choose to endlessly speculate, I prefer to take this as an announcement of Hot Raving Clay Band, the next Guitar Hero. In all seriousness it's probably just MM exercising their creativity, something the company is known for by now. Either way, we will find out when Media Molecule actually announces the project. Media Molecule and PlayStation 4 fans now have something more to look forward to.
