Oh, now that's interesting. Basically an extended demo, but better since it's the real game - the original demo wasn't really an accurate taster of the game progression and story.
If I didn't already have the game I'd definitely give this a shot. I miss the days when trials and demos were the norm, so kudos to Square Enix for this. :3

Nymph this might be worthwhile for you!

So according to what everyone says about this game, you are getting the best part of the game for free with the option to pay for the worst part?

Wow. That's actually a pretty good deal, bring that over squeenix.

Ooh! Thanks for linking me

This sounds really awesome, I'm totally down for some extended demos (and I agree Verotten, I kinda miss those silly demo discs haha) I hope this shows up in eShops outside of Japan at some point. ; v ;

Too bad I already have the game, not that the game wasn't good but free stuff is always nice. Not to mention, it's cheaper by a heck amount.

Hahahaha, if the free-to-play option is true in Japanese English.

Wow that does seem pretty cool. Why can't it just be the full game. If they could put 1-4 in this then they could just put all the chapters in it.

I already own the game, and the first four chapters is really generous, since the bulk of the gameplay is there.

The good part of the game/story is there while you have to pay for the bad part.

At least the battle system is ace throughout.
