Watch Dogs now has a good helping of new DLC, including three new single-player missions players can take Aiden through. Welcome back to Chicago, and grab the new weapons and outfits while you're there.
The new missions are all self-contained, sending our unlikely hero to a number of different locations for differing objectives. All tend to involve hacking in some way or another, of course. Here's a breakdown of what the new content pack:
- The Palace Single Player Mission: A police raid is planned on the luxury palace of an Internet mogul. His databanks have intimate details on thousands of people including Dedsec and Aiden Pearce. Break inside, wipe his hard drive and escape before the raid begins. Then silence the Internet mogul.
- Signature Shot Single Player Mission: A biometrics weapon has been smuggled into Chicago for a captain of the Black Viceroys gang. The weapon only works with the first person to imprint his palm on the handle. Breach a stronghold, steal the package and be the first to imprint the weapon.
- Breakthrough Single Player Mission: A secret gathering is underway. The Chicago South Club is negotiating power with Corporate CEOs. The Club has hired scramblers to block surveillance devices. Find the scrambler vehicles and take out their technicians. Locate the meeting and eliminate everyone taking part.
Since just having missions to run wouldn't be enough, Ubisoft did include two new weapons -- the Biometric Rifle and Auto-6 Pistol -- to be earned, accommodating different styles of play. On top of all that, a new South Chicago outfit is now available with the DLC pack, plus the Dedsec Battery, Blume Weapon, ATM Hack, and Driving Master boosts.
For Watch Dogs Season Pass holders, this DLC should be readily available for download and play. Everyone else can grab the new add-on for $6.99. This comes about a month after Watch Dogs' first DLC release, the Conspiracy! Digital Trip game mode.
