Playdead know how to mess with platformers and make them substantially creepy. Well, following their XBLA success LIMBO, the studio has announced INSIDE, a new sidescroller debuting on Xbox One in 2015. Mind you, that means timed exclusive.
We don't know much about INSIDE right now except that it stars a young boy navigating through a dangerous dystopian world not entirely unlike our own. A grim atmosphere lingers, created through the clever use of colors and shapes. The boy's identity and motivations are currently unknown.
Anyway, you can see the E3 trailer right here. Sure, the whole game could be a lot more cheerful when played, but the video seems to set a very clear tone of suspense. Expect more to come in the months leading up to INSIDE's release.
