Today saw the release of a new Dragon Age: Inquisition trailer and some screenshots, because that's just the sort of thing the first day of E3 is for. The trailer is dubbed "Lead Them or Fall," of course referring to the Inquisitor leading his (or her) small army of misfits and badasses -- warriors and apostates.
The Inquisitor, as we see in the trailer and already figured out from previously released info, bears a mark of chaos. While this might be considered a pretty terrible thing, the player character is instead rises to the challenge and winds up leading a multi-racial brigade against forces of evil.
Despite EA and BioWare teasing character reveals prior to E3, we don't actually get any of that. Instead, we're simply reacquainted with Vivienne, Blackwall, the Iron Bull, and Sera. Why the elf chick is catwalk-swaggering through a field of tall grass with her hands out is beyond me, though.
Anyway, did someone ask for a high dragon?
Remember that Dragon Age: Inquisition is available for pre-order right now, and that includes the $170 Inquisitor Edition or the more affordable $70 Deluxe Edition. Fans who like collecting novelty merchandise might actually dig the more expensive option, what with the fake lockpick set and Inquisitor badge.
Dragon Age: Inquisition will be out October 7 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC. We'll no doubt meet more of the cast before then (I hope).
