Ubisoft finally reveals Assassin's Creed Unity in the flesh with a world premiere trailer at Microsoft's E3 media briefing this morning, confirming the upcoming entry (set in Paris during the French Revolution) will feature the franchise's "largest playground" yet.
What's more, you'll be able to team up with up to three friends during storyline missions as a brotherhood of your very own. So far we've seen the feature for Xbox Live, but we wouldn't be surprised to see it confirmed for PlayStation platforms later today.
Update: Here's the gameplay demo featuring the 4-player co-op, shown during the Xbox One media briefing this morning. In it, we see the four Assassins infiltrate a mansion in search of a marquess. We won't spoil the end of the mission for you, but it's probably not too surprising.
The video stretches over five minutes and gets pretty gruesome towards the end, so be warned. The French Revolution certainly isn't known as one of the bloodiest eras in European history for no reason.
