Good morning, everyone, and welcome to E3 2014. Today's perhaps the most exciting of E3's four-day schedule, as it's the day of press conferences. Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and Sony will all take to the stage and deliver their pitches for why they are the best at video games, and why gamers across the world should love them and shower them with money for it. New game announcements, game teasers, lots of marketing hype talk, and lots of hilarious nonsense as well. Those last two may be the same thing.
Microsoft, as usual, has dibs on opening up E3 with their own press conference, the simply named "Xbox at E3 2014" event will begin at 9:30 AM PDT. Press is currently in line on the esteemed green carpet (it's really green), including Neoseeker's very own Lydia Sung. She'll be dropping photos and pointed commentary for us as the event goes on. Live blogging duty will be handled by myself with support provided by Mr. Leo Chan.
Unfortunately it doesn't appear that Microsoft's presser will be able to be embedded here. However, those interested in watching can head over to Xbox.com, or can watch on their Xbox console and phone. Probably Spike TV too, but let's not go crazy here.
I highly recommend sticking around here and reading our live blog, as well as joining our live chat within the forums. It's going to be a quality Neoseeker bonding event. There will likely be hugs, arguments about resolution, and probably also Nintendo fans talking about Pokemon. This is Neoseeker, after all.
Let's get this party started! Welcome to E3 2014, everyone!
