E3's just around the corner, and Rocksteady is climbing aboard the hype train. Their new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer shows just how the Dark Knight is evening the odds with the Batmobile. No, it's not with souped up Batarangs and gadgets. Lucious Fox out did himself this time and tricked out Batman's ride big time.
Not only will you be able to drive around Gotham in the Batmobile, but you'll be able to play with some of Batman's new toys when you switch into battle mode. The trailer shows us Batman breaking the speed limit and driving where cars normally wouldn't be driving, but that's nothing new. The new toys under the hood are the real treat.
The all new Batmobile will feature a riot suppressor with non-lethal ammunition, a vulcan gun for taking out tanks and aircraft, and even a rocket launcher for when other gadgets aren't enough. It's doubtful anyone unfortunate enough to be caught up in a rocket launcher-induced explosion or a vulcan gun barrage will survive, but Batman's got bigger fish to fry. The "no killing" rule can hopefully be put on hold long enough to clean up Gotham. After all, Bruce Wayne isn't Superman.
Rocksteady promises more Batmobile battle goodness at E3 next week. Arkham Knight will be available in 2015 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
