4A Games and Deep Silver have a social media bombardment in progress teasing what can only be the rumored/confirmed Metro: Redux rerelease for PlayStation 4. The leak in months prior teased both Metro: Last Light and Metro 2033 being packaged together with DLC to be put out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Rather than deny the leaks, Deep Silver stepped up and confirmed their plot, but promised we hadn't seen nothin' yet and to get hyped for more details pre-E3.
That time is now! On Twitter three short Vine recordings were released teasing what must be the PlayStation 4 version of Metro: Redux. We know it's the PlayStation 4 version, because they show a PlayStation 4 controller. Even if they didn't, it would still be easy to call because they prominently advertise the game running at 60FPS which is like, the PS4's big thing, yeah?
The three Vines show an assortment of gameplay snippets, though whether they're taken from Metro: Last Light or Metro 2033 I'm not entirely sure. I sadly haven't played either game, which may be why I'm excited for both to come to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. I do like the look of that monster getting his head caught in a door, plus the mask wiping is just one of those iconic features in Metro. It makes me wish more FPS games would use it.
Odds are we'll be hearing about Metro: Redux soon. Odds are 4A Games and Deep Silver have some surprises left for the game's full announcement. Odds are it's going to be totally awesome. It is Metro, after all.
I wonder where the Xbox One version of the game is?
