Who wants more Dragon Ball? Goku and the Z fighters will be making their next-gen (or is it current-gen now?) debut in Dragon Ball New Project on the PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360 according to a new teaser site that just went up today. Just because the Dragon Ball story is finished doesn't mean the games have to stop. After all, Vegeta loves the attention.
The game's existence was teased in April's V Jump magazine and believed to be a next-gen exclusive. The teaser site reveals that's not the case, and Xbox One owners will unfortunately be sitting out with Krillin and Yajirobi for now. As it stands, we don't know much about the latest adventure yet outside of three screenshots.
The first shows what looks like Goku's first fight with Vegeta with what appears to be either a custom character or a new entry into the Dragon Ball saga watching from the sidelines, indicating that we might be seeing four-on-four or eight-on-eight action like in Battle of Z. Of course, the obligatory Super Saiyan Goku and Frieza fight is also shown in another screen. You can't have a Dragon Ball title without that iconic matchup.
All we can really do at this point is speculate, but future issues of V Jump and the teaser site will surely keep us updated on the roster and various game modes as well as a release date in the months to come. Let's just hope we get a muffin button for pre-ordering.
