Oh god, I want to play so bad, but I also don't want to be burned like after Sim City's newest installment.

Will probably have to wait and read some reviews and watch some gameplay.

I guess they changed the Art Style back, I remember this game looking like it was going to be much more cartoony.

Is this gonna be another "Always online" EA classic?

phew, I was worried there for a sec that we wouldn't be able to change our sim's boob or butt sizes. this video sure put my mind at ease....

Not always online but as always be skeptical with EA.

That said the new artstyle looks fantastic. Soooo much better than when they originally announced it and infinitely, INFINITELY more superior to Sims 3 play-dohs look. That said I was disappointed with the sims 3 because despite the open neighboorhood, relationship wise everything fell apart. The game got too boring too fast compared to the Sims 2 which for some odd reason was just far more entertaining despite being restricted to your home.

Will buy when cheap. I hope they don't make it a pain and try to stunt (and fail) the mod community for the sake of selling expansions.

Funzo What a world we live in that sirs like yourself have been conditioned to believe that they might perhaps be unable to change boob or butt sizes on their Sims. A sad state, our industry is in.

Boobs I could care less about but no lie, if there wasn't an ass slider I would have boycotted this game.

I NEED DEM SKINNY JEANS TO POP.

Yeah, call it bandwagon-ing but I dunno if I'll get this. I like the Sims games well enough, but there is something off-putting about their practices. Well, EA in general and how they handle the Sims.

By the time they finish with DLC for the game, they'll be announcing the next one if the Sims 3 is anything to go by. Mind, shortly after Gearbox finished with BL2, the Pre-Sequel was announced.

I guess I'll wait and see what incentives there will be for jumping in early with The Sims 4.

Thank God. No more vanilla pudding faces.

I actually am liking this new style a lot more. I just hope that it's not like The Sims 3 with the whole "50% of the games items have to be purchased with real money" thing. Sometimes, I wish EA wasn't such a bad company. And by sometimes, I mean all the time.

I like how the sims look except for the hair. In my opinion I don't like the Lego look..

Have no fear, if you're not a fan of it, there will always be the splendid modding community.

Personally I like the style they've done the hair with. If it all (that along with the closed neighborhoods etc) goes toward making a smoother and more solid game, then I'm fine with it.
