Never Alone, perhaps the most unique game we've heard about in some time, gets its first trailer today. This atmospheric indie puzzle platformer seems to have a lot going for it, on top of the gorgeous art, and that's the source material it's based around: Alaska Native mythology.
Nuna is a young Iñupiaq girl, with an adorable Arctic fox for a companion. Together, the two must overcome great challenges in the unforgiving north. The influence of Alaska Native cultures should be apparent as well, from characters to folklore. Seriously, just watch the trailer.

Never Alone will be released as a downloadable title for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 this fall, for $14.99. The game also happens to be the debut title from independent developer Upper One Games.
Looks like something worth keeping an eye on.
