NIS America dropped a Battle Princess of Arcadias launch date today, that beat-'em-up title similar to Vanillaware's Dragon's Crown. The new title shall be hitting North America on June 17 and European nations on June 18.
Coming to the PlayStation Network exclusively for the PlayStation 3, Battle Princess of Arcadias lets players take up the role as Battle Princess Plume in the formerly peaceful kingdom of Schwert. Princess Plume has set out to save and restore the monster-ridden world of Schwert, a previously beautiful and peaceful land. Similar to an everyday RPG, Battle Princess of Arcadias allows the heroine to gather a band of traveling companions and upgrade weapons and armor, transforming them into stronger, new pieces of equipment. Every character will have a different skill-set available for use during the large-scale boss fights and enemy skirmishes.
RPG fans, do not fret. Battle Princess of Arcadias will fight its way on to Sony's PlayStation 3 on June 17 in North America, and June 18 for Europe. NIS America has not released any news related to pricing just yet, but interested console owners can pick it up as a downloadable title exclusively on the PlayStation Network.
