Watching for updates on DLC Dogs? Err, how about an update on Watch Dogs DLC? That question actually doesn't feel any better. Nevertheless, Ubisoft announced today the details for Watch Dogs' season pass of DLC. For $19.99, which is a 25% discount off of each DLC pack bought individually, players will be able to pick up a variety of single-player content. That includes a single-player side story featuring T-Bone, the reclusive hacker, a new "Digital Trip" and a Mafioso weapon/skin pack.
Perhaps best of all, however, is that Watch Dogs season pass purchasers will get a one-week early access to the DLC content. Considering DLC purchasers are already paying a premium compared to the price of the full game, an early access reward is the least Ubisoft could do.
Here's Ubisoft's full list of included content in the $19.99 season pass for Watch Dogs:
- T-Bone Side-Story - Single player missions featuring a brilliant but eccentric hacker who lives by his own rules.
- Conspiracy! - A new Digital Trip game mode that lets players hunt down cyborgs in this mind-bending alternate game universe.
- Untouchables Pack - M1 SMG weapon and a 1920s mobster outfit. In North America, exclusive to the Season Pass.
- More single player missions, weapons, and outfits.
Not exactly a robust post-launch DLC line-up, but then again maybe Ubisoft has plans to release additional multiplayer content outside of the Season Pass. Still, considering that Watch Dogs has long been considered one of the most anticipated next-gen releases of 2014, it's surprising that the best Ubisoft can put together in terms of Season Pass DLC is a few missions revolving around a hacker named T-Bone. Not exactly "Freedom Cry" from Assassin's Creed, is it?
