If you've ever wanted to play as Paper Takamario, Pokémon Champion and Hero of Time, now's your chance. Hydra Interactive Entertainment released details about the upcoming title, Upside-Down Dimensions. The recently announced action RPG blends elements from Paper Mario, The Legend of Zelda, and Pokémon all into a Takamaru's Ninja Castle-esque package.
Upside-Down Dimensions sets players in two worlds, one for ninja Ryuu and one for ninja Keiko. Flipping between worlds, a key element of Super Paper Mario on the Nintendo Wii, is the only way to defeat the vile antagonists, the Dark Shogun and his dark minions hordes. The two heroes must work together to stop the evil warriors before the kingdom of paper is brought down to the ground.
The newest paper adventure will be available on PC, Mac, PlayStation Vita, and mobile platforms starting in 2015. Console owners, do not fret -- Wii U, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox One releases are also listed as "proposed." Interested readers can expect more information coming soon regarding Upside-Down Dimensions, Hydra Interactive's mixed-genre title.
