hahaha, I played it on my PS3 as a classic before it was even out as a classic.

Shame its not the Golden version, but Persona 4 is a great game regardless of version. This is definitely a buy for me.

$10? Wow you'd be silly not to pick this up if you haven't played P4 or even if you just haven't played it in a while

If I had to guess as to why, rumors of PS1/PS2 emulation coming to the PS4 lead me to believe (if true) that we may see an influx of remasters/ports for some quick $$$

I've been looking for a chance to play this, after I recently tried the other SMT games, so this could be rather interesting!

Is it strange that I'm considering buying it, even though I already have Golden?

I wish they would come out with Golden for PS3 or PS4 as a classic...I would buy it in a hearbeat. As it is, I may buy this anyway.

Why don't they do Golden HD edition? Then again the touch screen features would be tricky to port over I guess.

Minimal work, haha. P4 already worked on PS3's with backwards compatibility, so it wasn't much of a stretch to get a digital version working with similar hardware. P4G, like you said, would be a quite the project to port from PS Vita to PS3. Not just hardware architecture issue, but there would a ton of software issues bringing it from a small screen to a big screen.

Not at all. It'd be support for Atlus.

Resolution would be a minor issue (The vita has a resolution of 960x544, probably higher than P4 was originally designed at). The only difficulty would be adjusting the architecture, but I doubt even that would be too big a deal. The big thing is they would compensate by simply charging more for the game.

Moonset Resolution wouldn't be the issue, if they even decided to change it at all, but there are dozens if not hundreds of small software changes necessary to bring a game from small screen to big screen. Otherwise everyone would do it.

Those software changes are way smaller than you think. It's only about changing input and the like and the programming differences between the Vita and PS3. It isn't done because it isn't economically efficient to create games for handheld and home consoles because you would be watering down the marketplace too much.

Hell, FFXHD is on Vita and PS3, you can even transfer saves. It isn't quite the hassle you seem to think.
