Doesn't sound half bad. Ah well, Cosmic Star Heroine, the game they are actually working on looks pretty decent. http://www.neoseeker.com/Games/Products/PC/cosmic_star_heroine/

Still they deserve mad props for even remembering Wild Arms, truly it was the Wild West for JRPG localizations back then. They missed out on a cheeky acronym for part of the title though!

Edit: Gah, character art even reminds me of Calamity Jane. *sniff*

You know, sometimes jokes end up becoming reality bluexy, if there is enough demand. Look at Goat Simulator.

Incidentally, I'm also one of those that made the Untamed Armaments --> Wild Arms connection, though I admit I never played the series through. I have one of the games though, the first one I believe.

On a sort of related note (another old series that seems to have disappeared). I'm still waiting for Konami to announce Suikoden VI >_>

Have you tried Tierkreis? It reviewed decently.

Even though V was good it didn't sell to expectations so I think they are trigger shy on the series and appear to be sticking with portable titles since they are cheaper to develop (there is another one that released in 2012 for PSP that hasn't gotten a localization)
