Goat Simulator. It's so much of a joke that developers Coffee Stain Games are releasing it on April Fools Day. It's quite literally a joke, a prototype, an unfinished experience that's only being released due to unprecedented demand from a sudden cult following. Yet it's still very real and look very fun. Perhaps the best evidence of this is the game's newly released and perhaps premature launch trailer.
In a particularly clever move, especially for a game named Goat Simulator, the launch trailer parodies the well-known dramatic Dead Island trailer that saw the violent end of small family in reverse slow motion. Goat Simulator's launch trailer is equally dramatic. Trust me, I write about Goat Simulators on the internet for a living.
Pick up Goat Simulator on PC starting April 1 for just $9.99, which undoubtedly some people will complain about. Only it will be just as hilarious that these people decided to spend $9.99 on a Goat Simulator game and then afterwards decided they were unhappy with what they received. It's named freaking Goat Simulator, yo. Do that math. Goat math.
