I've only recently just started guild wars so I only have one character, but my friend is super excited for this.

I remember when they promised account wide dyes before the game was out and then took it away. Now they're introducing it as something great and new? Kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

So those 200 dyes or something my main has can be used on alts, thats nice This has been requested since the dawn of Guild Wars 2 (aswell as the wardrobe). Definetely a change I'm glad to see.

Blog post mentions the wardrobe has been worked on for a long ass time.

Not sure why account bound dyes took them so long, but it was probably out of a desire to release all this shit at once.

Not to mention this update would be right in the middle of Season 2 World vs World - Spring Tournament

Since they are also reworking runes/sigils + 2H weapons.. I wonder if they will expand upon combat afterwards in terms of features (more variety in skill types etc). But this new patch is looking to be the best one they've released yet when it comes to gameplay changes that's for sure. It seems they have done it all at once for the upcoming china release.

Ah I was so pleased to see this.
Account-wide dyes in particular was one of my main demands, it seems like it would've been a pretty straight-forward thing to have done in the first place. >__>

Wouldn't surprise me, game devs these days seem to be falling all over themselves trying to draw in the Chinese market.
Like the sudden release and 'coolification' of a bunch of Chinese gods on Smite, coinciding with the announcement of its Chinese release.
Nice to know that the rest of us aren't the priority...

Anyway, this has been a long time coming. Not sure if it'll get me back into the game, but I'll certainly still pop on to check out the patch.
