EA confirms a slight delay for the retail release of the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall. Originally scheduled to ship on March 25th after being delayed a first time, Titanfall on 360 will now be launching two weeks later on April 8th in North America. Europe meanwhile will now be receiving the title on April 11th.
The reasons for a delay at this point are probably what you expected: last minute tweaking to get the Xbox 360 port looking just right on the platform, which EA Studios EVP Patrick Söderlund maintains is "fantastic", by the way.
While Bluepoint Games is handling the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall, the studio does have quite the track record for porting titles to multiple platforms including the Ico & Shadow of the Colossus HD remake for PS3. Titanfall on the Xbox 360 should retain all the features of the Xbox One and PC versions, but naturally at a lower native resolution and graphical fidelity.
The Xbox One and PC versions already launched earlier this month to some degree of server instability, which were quickly ironed out.
