Wii Sports Club is gearing up to give health clubs some competition. Spring is just around the corner and Nintendo's celebrating by giving everybody with a Wii U and SpotPass free access to Sports Club next weekend. From 9 AM PDT March 21 until 11:59 PM PDT March 24, Wii Sports Club will be free to download and play as much or as little as you want.
The eShop title has features golf, tennis, and bowling from the original Wii Sports with updated graphics, GamePad integration, and Wii MotionPlus controls. The updated release also features online multiplayer, allowing players to get off the couch and play against their Wii U friends. The Sports Club also opened up a new nine-hole golf course in today's update, giving current members a whole week to enjoy the new course before the floodgates open.
To keep playing after the promotion ends, there are two options. You can either purchase a Day Pass for $1.99 off of Nintendo's eShop to access every game for 24 hours or pay $9.99 per sport for a Club Pass that grants permanent access. Give Wii Sports Club a chance for free next weekend starting March 21.
