I am still waiting, hope this isn't something major or anything or I may need to take my Titan down to Microsoft.

EDIT: and just as I post that they report the services are back up. Woo!

Yet most modern mmos have relatively smooth launches nowadays. Swtor and GW2 had some.issues but it was otherwise relatively smooth. There is no excuse at this point. You want to avoid these issues as best as possible and at least admit to mistakes something both EA and Microsoft refuse to do.

You'd think with all their Azure servers and recent fiascos with other online only games would have them better prepare.

" Other problems include technical problems for gamers running multi-core PCs"

Uh.. what now?

So... Kinda... Every pc out there...

And... Is this to say single core CPUs dont have an issue? Because... What?

Was testing done on single core CPUs? Like a pentium 4? Or an old ass celeron? Maybe an athlon 64? Are there issues with ddr-based memory, but sdram is fine too?

Derp, sorry. I meant multiple GPUs, not multi-core CPUs. Not sure how that slipped through. I went to a state college for my degree.

And who didn't see this coming? Let's hope they get the issues solved for all those people that bought the game.

I could've sworn they "promised" that this wouldn't happen after that whole Sim City fiasco and that they were going to be prepared. Guess not!
