Sure seems like it is a gamer changer, or at least it's likely to be, from where I'm standing.

I played the beta at my friends house, it was pretty cool. But I HIGHLY doubt one video game is going to save the Xbox One.

I think one 'killer' game is enough to turn around a console's fortunes. If I didn't have a PS4, I'd buy an Xbox One for Titanfall. The fact that they're offering a Titanfall bundle at a reduced price just makes it easy.

It would be if it wasn't on the 360 and PC as well...

Yeah, that's a pretty good point. MS should've bribed them to make it an XB1 exclusive, or at least an XB1 and PC exclusive.

I played the Beta and to me it was fun and interesting but still reminded me of CoD in many ways. I don't see to spend $60 on a multiplayer only game and i don't see it "saving" the Xbox One since its on PC and the 360. There is no reason to sell ones 360 to get the One just for Titanfall. Wonder what EA is thinking now after the PS4 sales went passed 6 million.

lol @ everything about this. Microsoft (of course) talking up their game, but ALSO admitting that the Xbone is failing by stating that this will be a game-changer.

Why is this funny to you? Are you wanting a singular console manufacturer with no competition?

I think their intentions with that message were good but the wording led it to become very skewed. Xbox isn't "failing", infact it's doing well with a record number of sales since the 360's debut. Titanfall is definitely the flagship game so far for Xbox One, and I think by stating they could pull ahead of Sony's PS4 sales as a "game changer" led it to be misinterpreted as "we're faling, pls halp, o mighty titanfall!"

Well One sales went up by like 96% in the UK with the release of Titanfall so it's certainly doing something right

Titanfall had nothing to do with that. What affected that is Gamestop selling the thing for £399 which is a nice little reduction and Maplin selling it for £349. The latter has now stopped selling it for that settling at the nice price of £379 but Maplin were selling the Xbox One for the same price as a PlayStation 4 right around the Titanfall launch. Titanfall had nothing to do with the sales spike as if it had the trend would be seen Worldwide but it just isn't.

Most places do a Titanfall bundle for £399 and they're pushing it pretty hard, Microsoft timed the price drop to coincide with the Titanfall release. Now I don't believe all of those sales were because of Titanfall as the PS4 also had a big jump last week but I do think the release of the game is the first time we've had a game come out on this console that a lot of people are desperate to play
