Alucard is returning to the spotlight in some upcoming Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 DLC, dubbed Revelations. Due out March 25, Revelations acts a bit of a prequel to the full game and stars everyone's favorite broody vampire, Alucard, turned son of Gabriel. Yeah, this should be good.
As Alucard, players will have a number of vampiric (and iconic) abilities at their disposal, like shapeshifting into a number of forms, such as a wolf or swarm of bats. Drinking the blood of his enemies also helps fuel his powers, so you may want to make sure none of that goes to waste. Also at his disposal are the Glaciem and Igneas powers, as well the ability to turn back time. Feel free to abuse his vampiric superiority for your amusement.
In terms of story, Revelations is supposed to give us a better idea of how Alucard is connected to Dracula. Apparently, daddy's fate affects Alucard, as well, so we'll learn about that, too. Honestly, the guy can't catch a break. Ever.
Currently, Konami hasn't officially confirmed the price for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 - Revelations. Can't imagine it'd be too much, though. We'll undoubtedly find out once March 25 is a little closer.
