Watch Dogs is just around the corner. Ubisoft revealed today that Aiden Pearce will be connecting the world on May 27, applicable to the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC versions. The Wii U release, meanwhile, is still in limbo after being delayed last month.
It's been a fun ride for Ubisoft over the last few months. Every game has its fans and its critics, after all, even trolls. Some trolls, being more dedicated than others, even went as far as committing trademark fraud by suggesting the Watch Dogs trademark be abandoned. Ubisoft responded quickly and filed a counter claim, preventing the abandonment. So much for Watch Doge.
PS3 and PS4 version owners will get an additional 60 minutes of gameplay through PSN. Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Vice President Michael Pattinson stated that the extra gameplay would show how PlayStation is the "preferred destination" for Watch Dogs.
