If you've ever wanted to try Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Transformers, and softcore pornography together in video game style, now's your chance. Atlus is currently developing Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars, a PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS game that allows your characters, the Star Children, to come together to create a massive fighting machine -- or, elegantly put, a Giant Battling Death Robot.
On March 25, North American players will be able to download the demo from the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop. Unfortunately, no release date has been announced for Europe, but we do know that the demo will launch overseas.
Conception II introduces players to the Star Children, a special group of kids with mystical powers. One young man, a Disciple of the Star Gods, is slowly losing his power, and must create the next group of Disciples. How would he do that? Why, with the help of other Disciples, of course. These people, called the Star Children, go on a quest to stop the evil currently residing in the world, and to create more guardians of the universe.
This epic quest will be hitting the North American eShop and PlayStation Store as a demo later this month. Fans of the demo can pick up the completed game for $39.99 on both systems. No word has been given just yet on European release dates, but we can confirm that European nations will be seeing this demo in Q2 2014.
