I tried this game a few weeks ago, it's quite nice but it has a really slow start. It's quite addicting if you enjoy ARPG's. I like D3's fast combat although this game has much better customization. Perhaps the two should make a baby...

Stick with it, the first 8 levels or so are slow but then once you get into your build it gets a lot better. D3 has nothing on PoE they're in completely different leagues. PoE has so much more character depth in what you can do and how you play. D3 is for kids, like "My First ARPG" kind of deal.

Yea after checking out the notes I played a bit more, ended up as 3 hours and I'm level 15 now and starting to fully understand how the upgrading and gemsystem works. The targetting seems a bit less forgiving compared to D3 but the combat is not slow anymore now that I have a full hotbar.
