New evidence surfaced over the weekend pointing toward Rocksteady Studios' secret project being a new entry to the acclaimed Batman Arkham series. Even though mum's the word at the studio, Warner Bros. has been more open.
Batman fans may recognize this villain from the comics or his cameo in Arkham City. For those of you that don't, meet Hush. The Batman: Hush Facebook page posted the above image of the man, teasing that we'll find out next month if he'll be playing a bigger role soon:
"Remember a little appearance by somebody in Arkham City? Well things may be abut to get more interesting next month..."
Remember that press viewing Rocksteady had last month? The limited number of reporters that were there can't share anything until later in March, which could match up rather well with the Facebook tease. The Hush page isn't just some random fan page, either, but actually run by WB, despite keeping a low profile with just under 5000 likes. It's possible that this is all a coincidence, but not very likely. The secret project over at Rocksteady is looking more and more like an Arkham game than a new IP.
Not only that, but a GameStop in Tucson, Arizona was allegedly sent this promotional Batman poster. Make of it what you will, but it looks eerily similar to the Arkham Origins logo that you see all over the collector's edition or even the Arkham City Collector's Edition.
Just like the criminals the Dark Knight deals with, they always leave a clue somewhere.
