Hey PlayStation Plus subscribers, February is ending and you know what that means: more free games with the start of March! Yes, Sony has more presents for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita owners as the next round of PlayStation Plus games have been reavealed. As per usual, they're solid releases, with the PlayStation 3 receiving the bulk of the "value" overall and PlayStation 4's release being an indie launching on the platform. However, Vita's not to be left behind at all this month.
Seriously, the Vita scored this March with another of the best titles available on the handheld. Let's not keep everyone in suspense anymore:
- Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition - Updated visuals and controls along with an all new "interactive broadcast mode"
- Tomb Raider
- Thomas Was Alone
- Lone Survivor: Director's Cut
- Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite
- Unit 13
Dat Monster Hunter! Solid get for PS Vita owners right there. While Freedom Unite may not be the most popular of Monster Hunter releases here in the west, there's no argument that it's not one of the best Vita titles available. Which should fit in nicely with the other best Vita titles already available via PlayStation Plus.
Then we have the PlayStation 3's PlayStation Plus, which continues to release some of the best AAA games on the console for free month after month. Tomb Raider is a great game and while it isn't the Definitive Edition for the PlayStation 4, that doesn't make it any less enjoyable here just a year after it's initial launch. Gah, the only problem with these great games is that I've already played them all!
Expect more information on PlayStation Plus' release schedule in the next week or so.
Note: Europe's PlayStation Plus release list is as follows. PS4: Dead Nation: Apocalypse Edition; PS3: Tomb Raider and Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons; PS Vita: Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD and Smart As!.
