It has been a long time coming, but Europe finally gets Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl thanks to a little help from NIS America, who are assisted Atlus in bringing the game to Europe. It will be hitting European shores on May 2. Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl is a rather experimental turn for the franchise, focusing more heavily on characterization and story in addition to its robust dungeon crawling gameplay.
Etrian Odyssey Untold is a remake of the first Etrian Odyssey game that Atlus released back in 2007. The game will be available in both the Nintendo eShop and in gaming stores, a price has yet to be released. However, after the £29.99 price on Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan, I can imagine this to also be the price for this game.
For comparison's sake, Etrian Odyssey Untold was originally released in Japan June 27, 2013 and then October 1, 2013 in North America. That means the European release took almost a year to be localized. Not a horrifying delay, but considering Atlus partners with other publishers to launch their titles in Europe it's a fairly fast turnaround.
