Titanfall may be gearing up to be the next World of Warcraft in terms of the MMO's fanatical fan base. NeoGAF member RazorUK just couldn't wait for more information to be announced by Respawn, so he took some of the game's beta files into a hex editor and datamined what looks to be map names for the upcoming blockbuster. After that, he discovered title images for each map mode as well. Good work, internet!
If RazorUK stumbled on the right information, Titanfall will feature 15 different maps at launch. Just note that these all information is acquired from the beta version of Titanfall and may not be final. Some maps could be added and some maps could be removed, but odds are this is our final list. Players in the beta are already playing on two: Angel City and Fracture, but the full list is as follows:
- Angel City
- Smuggler's Cove
- Training Ground
Datamined information can sometimes lead to wild speculation about upcoming patches or expansions, but this list looks like it's pretty accurate. Titanfall releases in North America on March 11 on Xbox One and PC, with Europe to follow on the 14th. Titanfall on Xbox 360 has been delayed to March 25 so the port's developer Bluepoint Games can put "the final touches" on it.
