I found it hard to believe it's not an evolution of Carbink. I mean, look at the bodies.
EDIT: Adorable..? I think the rock coming out of it's dress thingy is a turd. Disgusting.

Wait, that first image is fake. Does that mean Diancie will be Shiny Locked and that it isn't related to carbink? aw man...

The Pokeballs are in a different position in this picture so the one with the shiny isn't just a recolored version of this picture. I'm thinking that the first picture could possibly be real, just from the other version of the game since each version has a different Pokedex entry.

If it is fake, I'd say it's a pretty realistic fake.

The Pokeballs are in a different position in this picture. Was this taken from video? If not, I'm thinking that the first picture may be real, just from the other version of the game since each version has a different Pokedex entry.

The first one was randomly circulated throughout the internet. The second one was taken directly from Pokemonxy.com, a legitimate source.

Notice how in the first picture (containing the shiny), the same amount of Pokemon are seen and caught. That leaves me to believe that it's a photoshop, because if it were from a different game, odds are that the player on X and the player on Y didn't catch and see the same amount of Pokemon.

The story behind the first picture is that it was the picture they had on pokemonxy.com, until they realized their mistake and replaced it.

We also need to remember that these aren't actual people's games the pictures are taken from, they are from developer games that could have as many Pokemon shown as they want.

Now I'm not saying that the picture isn't faked (in fact I actually hope it is because that is a really ugly shiny form), just that we can't completely rule out the possibility of it being real. It could very well be Photoshopped, but we just don't have any way of definitively knowing yet.

EDIT: While doing some research, I found this picture:

These are supposedly the shiny models for all three leaked events found by a hacker posted five days before Diancie's reveal. source

Very interesting...

I don't think the shiny one is fake, the Description... it'll be like X and Y different descriptions, they both have different descriptions on each pokemon so the shiny will be real and legit
Meloetta, you've just gone replaced!
