Sorry, I'm a bit confused.

Does the bankruptcy of Neverland mean that there won't be any more Rune Factory Games at all?
Marvelous (they're the guys who own Rune Factory) took in the main dev team for the series from Neverland, so its pretty likely they're going to continue with the series in-house, probably with them as the lead designers.

daveyd aye, it's looking hopeful!
Hopefully if they do well in NA, they'll be inclined to push more stuff to the EU... I shall wait with bated breath!

For the record, Forbidden Magna now has its own little forum (here).

Siliconera has a recent article about Forbidden Magna. Sounds like a North American localization is pretty likely, which is awesome.

Definitely great news, and it would be even better if it does get an EU release.

But I can't help but have a lingering doubt in my mind. I mean Rune Factory 4 is defiantly a successful game, and just after Neverland got bankrupted shouldn't they try to make some more money by expanding the market ? But instead they went ahead to make a new game that not even guarantee to sell well. Although I can't quite guess why they decided to cancel the EU release of Rune Factory 4 (some say it most definitely have something to do with the bankruptcy of Neverland) and not even release an E-Shop version (and that remains to be seen). Anyway, for whatever reason it might be, I just hope this time we will have yet another great game brought to us (and most definitely not just US this time ).

At very least, it cheers me up a little knowing Neverland is not yet dead .

(sorry for the essay )

Hey, at least XSEED sort of hinted that they will consider localizing it. ATLUS USA would just say, "We are not announcing anything at this time".

XSEED Rep: “We just learned about it ourselves, but agree that it looks great. We can’t wait to get our hands on it and check it out ourselves eventually. Yep, completely agree that Forbidden Magna is looking great. We’ll be keeping our eyes on it.”

Oh XSEED, you tease, you.

I don't think you've ever done anything more useful in your life, Aurigae.
And I say that with love. <3

I seriously cant keep up with all these amazing 3ds titles, and i couldnt be happier about that.
Haha, nor can I! After 2013 in 3DS land, I'm excited to see what 2014 brings us.

Personally, I can't wait for this & Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney.

Yeah, it takes dedication to do something like this when youre probably not getting payed. Props to the guys that are working on this.

That aside, Ive played a few rune games. Some were really, really great and fun to play. I can Honestly say ive logged about 200+ hours into Rune Factory 3. Others though i barely managed to pick back up after a first playthrough. (Looking at your Rune Factory 4. <.<) I still have hope that the guys who are producing this will pull through and give us a very high quality game. (Story and mechanic wise. This game can get by with sub-par quality graphic's.) If they dont eventually turn their luck around on this series though then we may never see more rune factory game's and the series will die. Sad it may be but there are many other JRPG games that can replace it.

Shouldn't the word be Manga? Not Magna?
