Titanfall won't be reaching all platforms at the same time, EA today announced. Respawn's highly-anticipated shooter will be arriving a bit later on Xbox 360, due to Bluepoint Games needing more time. Instead of reaching the 360 on March 11, this version has been delayed to March 25.
While Respawn is responsible for Titanfall on PC and Xbox One, Bluepoint Games is behind the Xbox 360 version. News of the delay came directly through EA's Twitter account, where a recent tweet mentions Bluepoint needing more time for "finishing touches."
Titanfall Xbox One & PC coming Mar 11; Xbox 360 moves to Mar 25 to give Bluepoint time to put the finishing touches on the game. #titanfall— Electronic Arts (@EA) February 6, 2014
Kind of a bummer, but as far as delays go, March 11 to March 25 isn't terrible. The beta is still expected to arrive some time this month, and pre-ordering the game isn't necessary for admission.
