For all you UK Donkey Kong fans out there, we have two lots of good news! The official site is now open for Donkey Kong:Tropical Freeze. It is coming to both North America and the UK on the 21st of February 2014. Accompanying the site launch is a brand new commercial for the 2D game.
The official site itself is quite the flashy one, with a moving centre image as you scroll up and down the page. It gets you rather excited for the game, does it not? The "Characters" section is enough to get anyone a tad bit excited inside. Hopefully the game makes up for the the delay until this month reported back in October. The official site includes various trailers as well as multiplayer and gameplay details.
The commercial? Well see for yourself! It has got a charming blend of real life and elements of the game. It has not topped the Legend of Zelda:A Link Between Worlds commercial for me, but is still really good.
Coming from a Nintendo fanatic, the advert below looks fantastic as well as the official site. The official site did lag a bit for me, but this could well be due to a tropical freeze. For the game itself, I would recommend it to a newcomer to the series who is willing to try out a new game. I am still a bit upset that the availability to play as Diddy, Dixie or Cranky Kong as a single player is nonexistent.
